Taxis and Shuttles

Antigonish Taxis on average cost $8 for a one-way in-town ride. Rides to the County (including Walmart/Superstore) are higher.

You can call most taxis and book in advance. In poor weather taxis are very busy and can take up to 25 minutes to arrive to pick you up. Plan ahead if you have an appointment or are trying to get to work.

Captain's Cab is the only 24/7 taxi.

Inter-city shuttles are run privately.  Call or check each website for prices and schedules. This list is of shuttles that run between Halifax and Sydney.

Maritime Bus travels across Nova Scotia and the Maritime provinces. It has connections to buses in other provinces.

Since Greyhound shut down its Canadian routes, inter-provincial bus transportation is trickier to coordinate.
